Join us this Wednesday, November 15th from 11:30-1:00 at Lake Receptions for a networking luncheon. Our speaker this month is our very own Chamber Director, Jack McDonald.
Jack McDonald is a third generation Lake Countian, a Mount Dora High School Graduate and a Veteran. He spent 6 1/2 years in the Army, attaining the rank of Captain, is a Master Aviator and a retired Lake County Investigator. Jack will speak about PTSD, Vietnam, and returning to Vietnam 40 years later. A slide show will also be shared.
In the spirit of celebrating our veterans, we invite you to bring photos of your favorite veterans to share on a display table during the luncheon.
We will also assemble care packages for homeless veterans during the pre luncheon networking. Feel free to bring items of your choosing. Suggested items are water bottles, socks, gum, mints, band-aids, soft snacks, and toiletries.
