  • East Lake Community and Roadway Clean Up

    You are invited to participate during an upcoming Keep Lake Beautiful Community Clean Up Event, Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 9-11 a.m.

    Keep Lake Beautiful (KLB) seeks to lead the way to a cleaner and more beautiful Lake County. KLB is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, the nation's leading nonprofit agency that focuses on building and maintaining vibrant communities.

    During this event, East Lake Residents are encouraged to clean up their homes and yards, and bring excess trash and bulk items to East Lake Community Park for disposal. In addition, Lake County's Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Unit will be available at East Lake Community Park, 24809 Wallick Road, Sorrento.

    KLB and its sponsors will provide gloves, safety vests, trash bags and water. Volunteers are asked to wear proper attire and bring sunscreen and bug repellent. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or be accompanied by an adult.

  • Community Forum - One Cent Sales Tax

    Join us and be educated!

    The East Lake County Chamber of Commerce is hosting an open discussion about the November 15, 2015 ballot initiative. Join us to learn the pros and cons in regards to the renewal of the one cent sales tax. This forum is being held Monday, August 31st from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Sorrento Elementary School Cafeteria, 24605 Wallick Road, Sorrento, FL 32776.
